Campus Safety Information – Surveillance Policy
The Madison-Oneida BOCES and the BOCES Consortium of Continuing Education provide education programs and services, and make employment decisions, without discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, disability or age; and we provide equal access to the Boy Scouts and other designated youth groups. The Madison-Oneida BOCES uses Integrated Pest Management practices to reduce the use of pesticides in the BOCES buildings and on the grounds. It may be necessary, however, to use pesticides periodically during the school year. New York State law requires that schools maintain a list of staff and parents who wish to receive written notice forty-eight (48) hours prior to a pesticide application at their school facility if the school building will be occupied within seventy-two (72) hours of an application. If you wish to be included on this notification list or would like further information on the district's pesticides program, please contact Risk Management Specialist Jack Angrisano - Madison-Oneida BOCES at 315-361-5573.
In accordance with the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act of 1987 (AHERA), a copy of the Madison-Oneida BOCES building inspection report and management plan is available for review during business hours by appointment. Please contact the Director of Facilities at 315-361-5500 to set up an appointment or if you have any questions.
