We utilize social media channels to share news and information on our campus programs and activities. Some of our programs and departments also maintain their own social media channels, which are not managed by the MOBOCES Communications Office. Please adhere to our social media guidelines below.
Here's where you can find us:
Use the #moboces hashtag or mention @MOBOCES1 to connect with us directly.
Our goal in using social media is to keep interested members of our community – students, staff, alumni, local residents, business partners – informed about current events and exciting things happening on campus as well as to create an additional path for dialogue.
Our social media channels are not intended to replace the communication channels already established to address student, personnel and other individual issues. These issues should continue to be directed to the appropriate Madison-Oneida BOCES (MOBOCES) administrator.
We welcome active participation and comments from users. It should be understood that all comments are solely the opinion of the author and do not represent MOBOCES. In engaging with us on social media, users are agreeing to comply with MOBOCES board policies, including, but not limited to, our Acceptable Use Policy, our Code of Conduct, the Dignity for All Students Act (DASA), and the Children’s Internet Protection Act (CIPA), as well as terms of use established by each social media platform.
In general:
MOBOCES may remove comments or posts deemed in violation of our guidelines and/or remove a user’s access to the page.
Please note that we are unable to monitor our social media accounts 24/7. If you are a student or adult in crisis, please call 911 or a crisis intervention service directly.
