Carpentry

Carpentry prepares students for careers in building construction. Students learn to plan, design, estimate, and build residential structures. Class time is spent learning the fundamental principles and concepts of layout and design, rough framing, drywall installation, basic electricity, masonry, plumbing, roofing, and more.

A fully equipped lab provides students with opportunities to apply what they have learned in class to real-world projects. Students also learn to apply basic algebra and trigonometry to designing and building.
