During this year’s National School Bus Safety Week, we want to recognize our Central Bus Maintenance team for providing participating districts and clients with a one-stop maintenance and repair service for their vehicles. Their expertise ensures that all repairs meet state requirements, and their training of drivers plays a key role in keeping our students safe on the road.

The service has 15 mechanics who maintain 295 buses and approximately 130 district-owned vehicles. They perform 10 to 18 pre-Department of Transportation inspections each week.

"Their work ensures that every vehicle is safe and road-ready, keeping students, drivers, and our community protected," MOBOCES Regional Transportation Supervisor Shawn Frost said.
