Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony Celebrates North Broad
MOBOCES held a ribbon-cutting ceremony yesterday to officially inaugurate its newest program center at North Broad Elementary School in Oneida.
The majority of elementary classes moved from the main Verona campus to the new Oneida site this school year, providing more space to accommodate growth in all K-12 programming. The new site underwent significant facilities work over the summer so that it could meet the learning needs of the elementary students now located there.
At the ribbon-cutting, MOBOCES administrators and board members celebrated the collaborative efforts that prepared the building for a smooth opening in September, just two months after building ownership transferred from Oneida to MOBOCES.
Following the brief outdoor ceremony, board members toured the building and visited several classrooms, where current North Broad teachers and students presented projects and shared highlights of their new space.
